Kanawha City Continues Social Distancing Road Closure

Due to the success of the first Social Distancing Road Closure event, Kanawha Avenue from 35-57th Streets will be closed to car traffic on September 13th, October 11th and November 8th from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., weather permitting. Both lanes of Kanawha Avenue will be open to walkers, joggers, bikers, and skateboarders etc. to provide a safe recreation haven for people to participate in during this Covid-19 pandemic. Social distancing and use of face masks are requested. Come out and enjoy some fresh air and converse with your fellow Kanawha City neighbors. Sponsored by your Kanawha City Community Association, KCCA wishes to thank Mayor Amy Goodwin and her staff for their continued support and assistance with this endeavor. Mark your calendars!
